Add Convertics as a ChatGPT connector
Connectors with custom MCP servers need developer mode in ChatGPT. Your keys are in the Convertics dashboard under Access.
- 1In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and turn on developer mode.
- 2Choose Create, name it Convertics and paste your MCP URL with your secret key:
https://harbor.convertics.ai/mcp/PUBLIC_KEY?key=SECRET_KEY. - 3Start a chat, add the Convertics connector and ask: “How many people are on my site right now?”

Install Convertics and open the AI traffic view. Visits referred by chatgpt.com are grouped automatically with the other AI assistants.
Can I track ChatGPT traffic in GA4 instead?
You can, with a custom channel group and a regex for AI referrers that you keep up to date by hand. Convertics does it out of the box and adds revenue attribution.
Does the ChatGPT connector need a paid plan?
Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and developer mode.
Can ChatGPT change my data?
